Degree of Amines :

Nitrogen atom connected with 1 carbon is known as 1 ⁰ Amine or Primary Amine. In other words Primary amine has -NH₂ group.
Nitrogen atom connected with 2 carbon is known as 2 ⁰ Amine or Secondary Amine. In other words Secondary amine has -NH- group.
Nitrogen atom connected with 3 carbon is known as 3 ⁰ Amine or Tertiary Amine. In other words Tertiary amine has N atom without any Hydrogen atom.
